After completing studies at the Paris Opera dance school, Laurence Fanon was named a star dancer at the age of 18 at the Théâtre du Châtelet.
Invited artist in Europe, she broadens her choreographic vocabulary, and she embarks on new experiences: aerial acrobatics, contortion, no two acrobatics, comedy and starts a career as a choreographer.

 

 

For the Folies Bergère and for the Lido de Paris, Laurence Fanon created an aerial smooth rope number that remained on the bill for ten years, and at the same time she organized events in communication, advertising, fashion and founded her choreographic company. ADDIVA which takes part in many shows.
Laurence Fanon also choreographs for the Opéra Garnier and Bastille, European operas and festivals, music halls and cinema.

 

Each new show gives Laurence Fanon the opportunity to perform a cast of choreographic or circus artists in order to select the talents essential to her choreographic universe.

 

 

Laurence Fanon is invited as a pedagogue and member of the jury for international events, teaches in Paris her Barre au Sol method and also gives Masters Class of Acrobatic Wears. As a teacher she is invited to the dance school of the Paris Opera.

She has been teaching her ground bar method since 1987. The fruit of multiple artistic and educational experience - while making reference to the method of Boris Kniassef - Laurence Fanon's ground bar allows us to specify and improve the performances linked to classical dance, flexibility and work from outside, tone and lengthening of muscles, rhythm and musicality in an atmosphere of relaxation and concentration. Allows children and adolescents a better understanding of their body diagram and adults a full body training.
