Perched on an imaginary cliff, NUMAH watches people. From her cabin suspended between the sky and the city, she shares in their joys, sorrows, and grief. Solitary and poetic, like a heroine from a Miyazaki film, NUMAH has a mission: to write letters that reveal the quiet truths we hide in everyday life. When night falls, she entrusts them to the wind, hoping they’ll find their way into the hands of strangers.
From these letters are born songs—comforting, visceral, sometimes bold. Inspired by BANKS, Rachel Chinouriri, and Charlotte Cardin, NUMAH blends Pop, Chanson, and Folk in an intimate and organic style. In Marie Claude, she pays tribute to her grandmother and to those we have loved and lost.
