JEYO’s music is just like him: joyful, warm, and unifying. This globe-trotting musician takes us on a ride with rhythms as mixed as they are festive, blending French and Spanish lyrics.
From sun-drenched cumbia to spicy swing and wild rumbas, all with an electronic twist... It’s in his roots that he draws the sincerity that defines both his style and his personality. A self-taught artist, pianist, and trained engineer, for JEYO, music is a universal language — a pure vibration.
Over four years of travel, from India to Mexico via Brazil and Cuba, it was through music that he connected with people. Far from home, he saw it as an invitation to open up to others, to dance, and to come together. During one of his many journeys, this former engineer discovered his life’s mission: spreading joy through song.
After circling the globe, JEYO returned to the studio and released his first EP, Anti-morosité, along with two vibrant music videos shot in Colombia: Abuelo and Le camino. Since then, he’s been touring and performing live, usually as a trio with drummer Maxime Dormoy (Raspigaous), trumpet player Renaud Gensane (Christophe Maé), and sometimes as a quartet with saxophonist Greg Lampis (Papet J.). Often accompanied by his colorful caravan stage, he delivers a borderless blend of music, inspired by artists like Manu Chao and Zoufris Maracas.
