Sandrine HÉNAULT

Sandrine Hénault joined the Paris Opera Ballet School at the age of 11 under the direction of Claude Bessy, where she quickly began performing leading roles.

At 16, she joined the Paris Opera Ballet under Rudolf Nureyev and rose through the ranks to become a soloist.

She worked with renowned masters and choreographers such as Jerome Robbins, Jiří Kylián, John Neumeier, Maurice Béjart, and Roland Petit, performing in major ballets from the classical and contemporary repertoire, from Swan Lake to Giselle, including Notre-Dame de Paris.

Her career also led her to dance as a soloist in galas. After retiring as a dancer, she dedicated herself to teaching and earned her teaching certificate in 2008.

After teaching at several conservatories, she joined the Paris Regional Conservatory (CRR). She regularly serves as a jury member for national exams and diplomas (EAT, DE, CA) as well as for dance competitions.

She is also a tutor for the Certificate of Aptitude for teaching classical dance, leads workshops and masterclasses, provides training for the State Diploma for dancers of the Paris Opera Ballet, and choreographs variations for competitions.
