Parisian choreographer, dancer and actor Mourad Bouayad explores various artistic fields.
Coming from hip-hop, he finds in contemporary dance the freedom to break the aesthetic boundaries of movement.
A performer for the Batsheva Ensemble and a certified Gaga teacher, he also plays in Hakim Belabbes' next feature film, as well as in Sofia Alaoui's next film.
As a choreographer, in addition to his commercial choreographies for Adi Halfin and Swire Group, he has created for the Palais de Chaillot, the Institut du Monde Arabe and recently at L'Olympia for Paris 2024 with À l'Unisson, an inclusive work with Arnaud Assoumani, bringing together amateurs, professionals, athletes and people with disabilities around the question of the threshold between belonging and difference.
